Ferdi Kadıoğlu — Biography
Ferdi Erenay Kadıoğlu is a Turkish international footballer born on 7 October 1999 in Arnhem, the Netherlands, where he was raised. Known for his versatility, he is capable of playing as a full back, midfielder or winger.
Kadıoğlu began his professional career with Dutch club NEC before moving to Fenerbahçe in 2018, where he spent six seasons in the Süper Lig. In 2024 he joined Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion, and after a standout season there he was transferred to another English club in the summer of 2026 for one of the highest fees of his career.
He made his senior debut for the Turkey national team in 2022 and was part of the squad that reached the quarter-finals at UEFA Euro 2024, later representing Turkey again at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Kadıoğlu has also spoken fondly of his former club Fenerbahçe, hinting that he could one day return there.
