Fatma "Fatoş" Kabasakal was born on September 9, 1982, in Edirne. Known as an actress, television host and model, she moved from modeling into television work. She is best remembered by audiences for playing the character Simge in the series Bez Bebek, and she has appeared in other productions as well over the course of her career.

Kabasakal has also occasionally featured in celebrity news for her personal life: she married actor Erkan Kayhan, though their formal wedding celebration became public knowledge only a few years after they had actually married.
