Fatoş Kabasakal — Biography

Presenting, acting and modelling have all been part of the work of Fatma "Fatoş" Kabasakal, a Turkish television personality. She is best known for playing Simge in the series Bez Bebek, which began airing in 2007. Born in Edirne, she moved to Istanbul with her family at the age of three.

She began her career as a presenter: at fifteen she hosted a music programme on Kral TV. She took her first step into acting with Ayrı Dünyalar and took acting lessons from Ayla Algan. In 2005 she played Yosun in the series Misi, in 2006 Betül Ünal in the film Sararan Sevdalar, and the same year she also appeared in the series Ah Polis Olsam. In 2007 she worked as a model for six months, made her name with a wide audience through Bez Bebek, and in the same year played Berçin Taygun in the film Yıldızlar Savaşı.

The programmes she has presented include Heyecanlı (Kanal 6), Afiyet Şeker Olsun (Kanal 7), Bir Eğlence Gecesi (Star TV), Ver Coşkuyu (atv), Fatoş'la Akıllı Alışveriş (Turkmax), Dedikodu Magazin (TNT) and Biz Bunu Beğendik (Beyaz TV). She acted in Kayahan's "Bir Aşk Hikayesi" and Tan Taşçı's "Taş Yürek" music videos, appeared in a wafer advertisement in 2010, took the stage in 2017 in the play Eksiği Var Fazlası Yok and took part in the competition programme Gardırop Savaşları. She married in 2018 and has two children.
