Esra Ural — Biography

Esra Ural (Esra Ural Topuz) is a Turkish professional basketball player born on 18 August 1991 in Mersin, playing as a center/pivot. She began her professional career in 2011 and, with her height and physical presence, has become a difficult matchup for opposing defenses. Ural has worn the Fenerbahçe jersey during her career and in recent seasons has played for Çimsa ÇBK Mersin in the Women's Basketball Super League.

Ural has also been a regular member of the Turkish national team, representing her country at the 2016 Rio Olympics. She was named to Turkey's national squad again in March 2026, and during that season she featured for Çimsa ÇBK Mersin in Super League matches against rivals such as Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe Opet.
