Esra Kılıç — Biography

Esra Kılıç was born on 12 March 1991 in Istanbul and is a Turkish theatre, television and film actress. She completed secondary school at Saint Benoit French High School and trained as a professional chef at a culinary arts academy; after taking acting classes at the Müjdat Gezen Art Centre during high school, she graduated in 2016 from Beykent University's Faculty of Fine Arts Acting Department on a full scholarship.

While still in high school she made her acting debut as Canan in the series Uygun Adım Aşk, and during her studies she played Felike in Çalıkuşu and appeared as Ahenk in the 2015 Ortaoyuncular production Pera'daki Hayalet. In 2017 she reached a wide audience as Fulya in Show TV's İçerde, alongside leads Çetin Tekindor, Bensu Soral and Çağatay Ulusoy. In 2020 she played Diana in Payitaht Abdülhamid, and in 2021 she drew further attention as the Chinese bride Mei Jin in Destan; she has also appeared in Seviyor Sevmiyor and Kendi Okulumuza Doğru.

She continues to build her acting career, taking on new projects.
