Esmeral Tunçluer — Biography
Born in the Dutch town of Ede, Esmeral Tunçluer is a retired basketball player of Turkish descent. Standing 1.75 m tall, she spent most of her career as a shooting guard, occasionally filling in as a point guard when needed.
At club level she played for Beşiktaş Cola Turka, Fenerbahçe, Botaş Spor and Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, winning the Turkish Women's Basketball League title with Beşiktaş in 2005 and again with Fenerbahçe between 2007 and 2011.
A longtime member of the Turkey women's national basketball team, Tunçluer earned 170 caps and was part of the squad that won gold at the 2005 Mediterranean Games in Almería, Spain.
