Ertuğrul Sağlam — Biography
Ertuğrul Sağlam was born on 19 November 1969 in Karadeniz Ereğli, Zonguldak, and later moved from playing into coaching. As a player he turned out for Beşiktaş and Samsunspor, while also earning an engineering degree from Yıldız Technical University. Holding a UEFA Pro Licence, he has managed several Turkish clubs as well as Iran's Tractor Tabriz across two separate spells, most recently taking charge of Kocaelispor.
In 2026 he also stepped into football punditry, offering assessments of the Turkish national team alongside Şenol Güneş, and in May he appeared as a guest speaker at an event hosted by Nevşehir University.
