Ersay Üner — Biography

Ersay Üner is a Turkish pop singer, lyricist and composer born on 7 October 1978 in the Seydişehir district of Konya. He began his career performing locally in Konya before moving to Istanbul, where he joined Demet Akalın's music circle.

Üner wrote and composed a string of songs for Akalın, including "Affedersin," "Bebek," "Herkes Hak Ettiği Gibi Yaşıyor," "Mucize," "Tatil" and "Unuttum," becoming known to Turkish audiences through these collaborations in the 2000s. His single "İki Aşık" charted in both Turkey and Azerbaijan, and in 2012 he recorded the duet "Yılan" with Akalın.

In April 2026, Üner was briefly detained along with other well-known names during a police operation and was released shortly afterward. That July, he performed for a crowd of roughly 1,200 people at an opening event.
