Erol Togay — Biography
Erol Togay (1 February 1950 – 9 August 2012) was a Turkish footballer and manager. A defender renowned for his heading ability, he was nicknamed "Kafacı Erol" during his playing days.
He played for Vefa (1968–1972), Altay (1972–1978), Fenerbahçe and Adana Demirspor (1981–1984), and earned five caps for Turkey in the qualifying campaign for the 1978 FIFA World Cup.
As a coach he took charge of Fenerbahçe for two matches in 1991 following Guus Hiddink's departure, and later managed Çanakkale Dardanelspor, Zeytinburnuspor, Küçükçekmecespor, Zonguldakspor, Düzcespor and Konyaspor.
