Erol Bekir — Biography
Erol Bekir, born Erol Bekirovski on 25 January 1974, is a footballer of Turkish origin whose family roots trace back to what is now North Macedonia. He has held both Swedish and Turkish citizenship throughout his career.
As a player he turned out for clubs including Waldhof Mannheim in Germany, Thun, Lugano and Young Boys in Switzerland, and Malmö FF in Sweden. After hanging up his boots, Bekir moved into football management and is now known within Swedish-Turkish football circles as a manager.
