Erkan Veyseloğlu — Biography

Erkan Veyseloğlu was born on March 13, 1983, in Munich, Germany. Standing 2 meters tall, the small forward began his professional career in the early 2000s. Over the course of his career he has played for clubs including Beşiktaş and Banvit, and later wore the jersey of Çağdaş Bodrumspor in the Basketbol Süper Ligi.

He is reported to have been part of the Turkish national team squad that took third place at the 2009 Mediterranean Games. Remaining active on the court well into his forties, Veyseloğlu has continued to log significant minutes in games even past age 41, and in interviews he has said he could keep playing into his mid-forties as long as younger players don't force him out.
