Erkan Kaş — Biography

Erkan Kaş was born on 10 September 1991 in the Niksar district of Tokat to a family of Kosovar descent; he plays as a left-back or left-sided midfielder. He began playing football at Esenlerspor in 2006, drawing attention with strong showings in regional youth championships, and joined Beşiktaş in 2008, where he featured for the club's reserve side and caught the eye of an English club along the way. After loan spells at Çaykur Rizespor and a return to Beşiktaş, he moved on loan to Kardemir Karabükspor, later signing permanently there in 2015 and becoming a regular starter in the Süper Lig, where he also made his first European appearance in a UEFA Europa League qualifier. He then joined Sivasspor the same year, and has also worn the Çaykur Rizespor shirt during his career. Standing 1.83 meters tall, he represented Turkey at under-19 level as a youth player.

He most recently played for Çorum FK, parting ways with the club in July 2026 before shortly agreeing terms with a TFF First League side.
