Erkan Eyibil — Biography
Erkan Eyibil is a midfielder who was born and raised in Germany and represents Turkey at under-21 level. Switching from Germany's youth national teams to Turkey and signing a five-year contract with Antalyaspor in 2021 were the main turning points of his career. He most recently played for Elazığspor in the TFF 2. Lig.
Born in Kassel, he played for Germany's national teams at several youth levels. He moved to Mainz in January 2020, and that same year chose Turkey, joining the under-21 side from October. In June 2021 he signed a five-year contract with Antalyaspor. He moved to a Bundesliga club in January 2022 and was loaned out by Antalyaspor to Gençlerbirliği in January 2023. He joined Elazığspor in July 2025 and drew attention that same month with a solo goal that local media called a "Messi goal".
He holds both German and Turkish citizenship, and his club career has run between Germany and Turkey.
