Erhan Şentürk — Biography

Erhan Şentürk is a forward who came through the Galatasaray academy and was part of the squad that won the Turkish Super Cup in 2008. He went on to play for many clubs in Turkey.

He joined Galatasaray in 2000 and spent eight years in its youth teams. In 2008 coach Michael Skibbe promoted him to the first team, and that August he played in the Super Cup against Kayserispor and, as a substitute, against Steaua București in the Champions League third qualifying round. A series of loans followed: Diyarbakırspor in 2008-09, the second-tier club Kartalspor in 2010-11 and Karşıyaka in 2011-12; at Diyarbakırspor he made 29 appearances in the second division and four in the Süper Lig. In the summer window of 2012-13 he moved to Çaykur Rizespor, and in 2014-15 he joined second-division Kocaeli Birlikspor on a free transfer.

In spring 2015 a six-match ban drew press coverage, as did his strongly worded reaction to it on social media. He joined Bucaspor 1928 in 2022 and later played for Bergama.
