Ergün Batmaz — Biography
Ergün Batmaz, born on 16 July 1967, is a retired Turkish weightlifter who stood 1.68 meters tall and competed at international level throughout the 1990s.
He won five medals at the European Weightlifting Championships between 1990 and 1998, becoming European champion in 1997 in Rijeka, Croatia. At the World Championships he medaled in both 1993 and 1995, and across his career he amassed a total of one gold, two silver and four bronze medals internationally.
