Eren Elmalı — Biography
Eren Elmalı was born on 7 July 2000 in the Kartal district of Istanbul and joined the Kartalspor academy in 2011 before moving to Kasımpaşa's youth setup in 2018. The left-back spent the 2019-20 season on loan at Silivrispor, then returned to Kasımpaşa and made 41 appearances across two seasons. On 1 July 2022 he signed for Trabzonspor, where he played 111 matches over three seasons and won the 2022 Turkish Super Cup.
He joined Galatasaray on 11 February 2025 and scored his first goal for the club away to Gaziantep FK in August 2025. A 45-day suspension over a betting investigation kept him out from November 2025 until he returned to action in January 2026. He made his senior international debut against Lithuania in June 2022, has won the Süper Lig with Galatasaray in 2024-25 and 2025-26, and was the subject of persistent transfer speculation in the summer of 2026.
