Erdinç Dinçer — Biography
Erdinç Dinçer (25 August 1935, İzmir - 20 August 2013) was a Turkish mime artist, actor and writer. He is regarded as the pioneer of the art of mime in Turkey and worked as an artist of the Turkish State Theatres.
His place of death is recorded inconsistently: Wikidata and the Turkish and French Wikipedias give Ankara, while the German Wikipedia gives Kuşadası. His death was widely covered in the Turkish press in August 2013. Credits attributed to him include the 1993 television series Saygılar Bizden.
He has at times been confused with another theatre artist of the same name who died in January 2010, a mix-up that was itself the subject of press coverage at the time.
