Erdal Bibo — Biography

Erdal Bibo is a Turkish basketball player, born on 8 January 1977 in Üsküdar, who made his name as a 1.96-meter small forward. He came up through the youth system of Efes Pilsen, contributed to the club's 1995-96 Korac Cup title, and by the time he left in 1998 had won two Turkish League titles, three Turkish Cups and two President's Cups with the team.

After two seasons with Türk Telekom (1998-2000), he returned to Efes Pilsen for 2000-01 and added another Turkish Cup before transferring to Fenerbahçe, where he played until 2006 and reached the FIBA Europe Cup final four in the 2004-05 season.

Bibo went on to play for Beşiktaş, TTNet Beykoz, Erdemirspor, Olin Gençlik and TED Ankara Kolejliler before retiring from playing in 2014. He subsequently moved into coaching and youth development at Anadolu Efes, returning to the club as a coach in 2016 and taking charge of its youth academy from 2017, a role he still held as of 2023.
