Erce Kardeşler is a goalkeeper who rose from the lower leagues to win honours with Trabzonspor and later captained Amedspor in the second tier. He comes from a football family: his father Eser Kardeşler is a former Bursaspor and Turkey goalkeeper, now a coach, and his older brother Arda Kardeşler is a referee at Süper Lig level. In the summer of 2026 he signed a one-year contract with Mardin 1969 Spor.
He began his professional career in the third tier with Oyak-Renault, for whom he played twice. In 2013 he moved to Altınordu and spent six seasons there, appearing in around a hundred matches. In July 2019 Trabzonspor signed him for a fee of TRY 2.5 million on a 3+1-year contract, and on 7 November 2019 he started in the Europa League away match at Krasnodar. At Trabzonspor he won the 2019-20 Turkish Cup, the 2020 Turkish Super Cup and the 2021-22 Süper Lig.
In July 2022 he joined Hatayspor for 400,000 euros on a four-year contract. In February 2025 he terminated that contract and signed for Amedspor, where he became captain. He left Amedspor in June 2026, and the club bade him farewell with a "Thank you, Captain" message. In July 2026 he moved to Mardin 1969 Spor. He stands 1.86 m tall.
