Ercan Osmani — Biography

Ercan Osmani is a 2.13-metre power forward who plays for Anadolu Efes in the EuroLeague and represents the Turkish national team. Born in Bajram Curri, Albania, he is known in Albanian as Erxhan Osmani and holds both Albanian and Turkish citizenship. With the national team he won silver at EuroBasket 2025, where his 28 points against Greece in the semifinal were a career high.

Before turning professional he played for the Kosovan youth teams Junior 06 and Bashkimi in Prizren. His career in Turkey began at Bandırma Kırmızı, and in 2019–20 he finished the Turkish Basketball League season averaging 20.7 points and 11.4 rebounds. On 8 August 2020 he signed a two-year contract with Beşiktaş and set his club career high with 27 points against Galatasaray. He moved to Darüşşafaka in June 2022, joined Anadolu Efes in August 2023 and won the 2024 Men's Presidential Cup. In the EuroLeague he scored 25 points against Partizan, his highest-scoring game in the competition, and in May 2025 he signed a new two-year contract with Efes.

With the national team he was part of the EuroBasket 2022 squad. In 2025 he made the final 12-man roster; he had 14 points and 9 rebounds against Sweden in the round of 16, 10 points against Poland in the quarterfinal, and 28 points against Greece in the semifinal, including six three-pointers.
