Ercan Kara — Biography
Ercan Kara was born on 3 January 1996 in Vienna. The Austrian forward, who is of Turkish descent, began his career moving through several tiers of Austrian football with clubs such as Slovan HAC, Austria Wien II, FC Mauerwerk, SV Horn and Rapid Wien.
His career later took him to the United States, where he played for Orlando City SC in Major League Soccer, before he joined Süper Lig side Samsunspor in 2023 and made his mark with a string of goals. Standing 1.92 meters tall, he returned to Rapid Wien in 2025 and currently represents both the club and the Austria national team.
