Ercan Aydoğmuş — Biography

Ercan Aydoğmuş (born 22 August 1979 in Sivas) is a former Turkish professional footballer who played as a forward, spending most of his career in Germany's lower divisions. After stints with Sportfreunde Lotte and Viktoria Köln, he joined SC Fortuna Colonia in 2013 and helped the club reach the third tier, finishing as its top scorer with 18 goals and making his professional debut in July 2014.

A 2015 move to Wuppertaler SV brought a regional title and promotion to the Regionalliga West, though a serious knee cartilage injury threatened to end his career. He went on to play for regional-league sides SV Genc Osman Duisburg, Cronenberger SC and VfB Speldorf, scoring 42 goals in 35 games for Cronenberger SC in a single season and helping the club earn direct promotion.

After joining TuS Asterlagen in 2022, whose promotion to the district league he helped secure, Aydoğmuş moved into coaching, taking his first managerial post at SV Heißen from the 2023-24 season onward.
