Ercan Aydoğmuş — Biography

Ercan Aydoğmuş is a Sivas-born striker who spent most of his career in the lower divisions of German football. He stood out in 2013-14, when he was top scorer, with 18 goals, of the Fortuna Köln side promoted to the 3. Liga. After his playing years he took up his first coaching job at SV Heißen from the 2023-24 season.

In the summer of 2010 he signed for Sportfreunde Lotte, a year later moved to fifth-tier Viktoria Köln, rose at once to the Regionalliga West and was the club's second-best scorer with 16 goals. In the summer of 2013 he joined Fortuna Köln. He made his professional debut on 27 July 2014 on the first matchday of the season, a 2-1 loss to SG Sonnenhof Großaspach, and by the end of the season his three goals had helped the team stay in the league.

In the summer of 2015 he moved to Oberliga side Wuppertaler SV, won the title in his first season and was promoted to the Regionalliga West. In January 2018 he joined SV Genc Osman Duisburg, with whom he won promotion at the end of the season. In 2018-19 he scored 42 goals in 35 games for Cronenberger SC, helping the club to direct promotion, and in the 2019-20 winter break he went to relegation-threatened VfB Speldorf. From July 2022 he played for TuS Asterlagen, who were promoted to the Kreisliga in their first season.
