Engin Bekdemir — Biography

Engin Bekdemir (born 7 February 1992 in Beringen, Belgium) is a Belgian-born Turkish footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder and is listed at 1.71 m. He represented Turkey at every youth level from under-15 to under-21, and in 2009 the Turkish Football Federation profiled him as one of the game's coming prospects.

He spent his early career at Eskişehirspor, leaving in May 2016 and joining Osmanlıspor that summer. His 2017 move to the Portuguese club Porto was widely covered in the Turkish press. He went on to play for Gençlerbirliği (2019), Altınordu (2019) and Kayserispor, agreed terms with Çaykur Rizespor in August 2020 and with Ankaraspor that October, and signed for Sarıyer in August 2023.
