Engin Atsür — Biography
Engin Atsür, born on 2 April 1984 in Istanbul, is a former Turkish national point guard who also holds German citizenship through his mother. Standing 1.94 m tall, he earned 113 caps for Turkey's national teams across various age categories.
At club level he played for major Turkish teams including Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş, as well as Alba Berlin in Germany and Orlandina Basket in Italy. He began his career playing college basketball at North Carolina State University in the United States, and at one point moved to a lower-division Italian club to live closer to his wife, professional volleyball player Meijners.
