Endoğan Adili — Biography
Endoğan Adili (born 3 August 1994 in Brugg) is a Swiss former professional footballer of Turkish descent who holds dual Swiss-Turkish nationality. Standing 1.70 m, he played as an attacking midfielder and forward.
He was developed in the Grasshopper Club Zürich youth system between 2002 and 2010. On 13 May 2010, aged 15 years and 286 days, he made his debut in the Swiss Super League and scored roughly ten minutes after coming on. That goal made him the youngest scorer in the history of Switzerland's top flight, and it also improved on the post-war European record Michael Gregoritsch had set a month earlier at 15 years and 361 days.
His move to Galatasaray in January 2014 was reported in Turkey as a surprise signing, but his spell in Istanbul did not build on that early breakthrough; the club terminated his contract in July 2018, and the termination was revisited in coverage in 2020. After retiring he has continued to offer analysis to Turkish sports media.
