Emre Kaplan — Biography
Emre Kaplan was born on 12 January 2001 in the Elmadağ district of Ankara. A left-back by position, he came through the youth academy of İstanbul Başakşehir and signed a professional contract with the club.
Kaplan began his international career representing Azerbaijan at under-19 and under-21 level before switching his allegiance to Turkey's under-21 national team. Alongside his spell in Başakşehir's first-team squad, he has been sent out on loan to lower-division clubs during his career.
