Emre Gürbüz — Biography
Emre Gürbüz was born on 25 March 1991 in Mersin, Turkey, and built his career as a versatile defender able to play both as a central defender and as a defensive midfielder. He began playing football at just seven years old with his hometown club Mersin Kuvayi Milliye, where he spent his formative years.
He moved to Şekerspor in 2006, then spent two seasons on loan at Mersin İdman Yurdu between 2009 and 2011. Following that loan spell, he signed a two-year contract with Süper Lig side Mersin İdman Yurdu in August 2011, joining the club permanently; later in his career he also turned out for Elazığ Belediyespor FK.
