Emre Aktaş — Biography

Emre Aktaş is a Bursa-born forward who made his name mostly in the shirt of Adanaspor. His path rose from the youth ranks to Turkey's second division and later led back to the lower leagues.

He started at Bursa Tofaş and then played for İnegölspor, where his performances earned a transfer to Ankaraspor. A crowded squad there gave him only 14 appearances, so he was loaned first to Keçiörengücü and, in 2007-08, to Malatyaspor. His play at Malatyaspor won him a move in 2008-09 to the First League club Adanaspor, where the striker soon drew attention. At the end of that season he was loaned to MKE Ankaragücü; he returned to Adanaspor at the start of the next season and became a popular figure with the fans. In 2010 he was loaned to Bucaspor, ended his contract mid-season and came back to Adanaspor.

As a youth he was called up to the Turkey U-18 team 15 times, playing 14 matches and scoring three goals. His July 2020 move to Polatlı was reported in the national press. Later his name appeared in the squads of lower-league clubs such as Orhangazispor, Polatlı Bugsaşspor and Diliskelesispor.
