Emirhan Topçu — Biography

Born in Bandırma, Balıkesir, on 11 October 2000, Emirhan Topçu took up football at age twelve in Çaykur Rizespor's youth system. Promoted to the first team in 2017, the centre-back was on the books when Rizespor won promotion to the Süper Lig that season, though a lack of playing time at the higher level sent him out on loan first to Bosnian side Čelik Zenica and then to second-tier club Menemenspor. Back at Rizespor from 2021, he became a regular starter through the club's fluctuations between divisions and made more than thirty Süper Lig appearances in the 2023–24 campaign. He joined Beşiktaş in August 2024 on a four-year deal, made his debut against Samsunspor and scored his first goal for the club against Sivasspor in February 2025. Though he plays primarily as a centre-back, he has also filled in at left-back when needed. At international level he was called up to Turkey's under-21 side in 2022 and to the senior national team in 2024; his honours include a first-division title with Çaykur Rizespor and a Super Cup with Beşiktaş.
