Emirhan İlkhan — Biography

Emirhan İlkhan is a Turkish midfielder who came out of Beşiktaş's academy, scored for the first team at just 17 and then moved to Italy to join Torino. In May 2026 he extended his contract with Torino and he continues his career in Serie A.

He began playing football in 2013 at Florya 1923 Spor and joined Beşiktaş's academy a year later. He made his professional debut on 5 January 2022 in the 2021 Super Cup in Qatar, which Beşiktaş won. Four days later, in his first Süper Lig match, he started against Çaykur Rizespor and scored his team's second goal; scored at 17 years and 222 days, it made him the second-youngest Beşiktaş scorer in the Süper Lig. In August 2022 he moved to Torino for a fee of about 4.5 million euros and made his Serie A debut against Monza on 13 August. He was then loaned to Sampdoria and, for 2023-24, to Başakşehir, where he played 30 league games and contributed one goal and two assists.

In September 2024 he had surgery on a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and stayed out until 20 May 2025; in his first official match after the injury, against Modena on 18 August 2025, he set up the winning goal for Torino. He has played for Turkey's U16, U18, U19 and U21 sides and in November 2022 was called into the senior national team's provisional squad.
