Emirhan Demircan — Biography

Emirhan Cüneyt Demircan was born on 20 January 2005 in Munich, Germany, and came up through Bayern Munich's youth academy as a Turkish-German prospect. Standing 1.81 m tall and playing as a winger and forward, he was loaned out to Dutch side Telstar to gain first-team experience, a move that put him on the transfer radar of Galatasaray in early 2024 and Beşiktaş in January 2025.

When his Bayern Munich contract expired in the summer of 2025, Demircan signed as a free agent with Eredivisie club Utrecht. A Turkey youth international who has represented the under-21 side, he is one of a familiar type of German-born player of Turkish descent who chooses to build an international career with Turkey rather than the country of his birth.
