Emin Bayram — Biography

Emin Bayram was born on 2 April 2003 in the Esenler district of Istanbul and, at 1.92 metres, plays as a centre-back. He came through Galatasaray's youth academy, making his debut in a Turkish Cup match against Tuzlaspor in December 2019 and his league debut against Konyaspor the following month. In July 2020, at 17, he became the club's youngest-ever captain in a match against Ankaragücü. He had two loan spells at Boluspor in 2021 before returning to Galatasaray, where he won the Süper Lig title in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons. In September 2023 he was loaned to Belgian club Westerlo, and in July 2026 he moved to İstanbul Başakşehir for a reported fee of around four million euros, a deal said to have brought Galatasaray roughly six million euros in total through a sell-on clause. He scored his first goal for Başakşehir in a European qualifying match against Inter Turku that same month. At youth international level he represented Turkey across the U15 to U21 age groups, making 44 appearances and scoring six goals.
