Elçin Afacan — Biography

Elçin Afacan is an actress who works in television drama and film and has not left the theatre stage. Wider audiences met her as Melek "Melo" Yücel in Sen Çal Kapımı, and she now plays Feray Bakizade in the series Sahtekarlar, broadcast on NOW.

She studied at the State Conservatory of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Her first experience in front of the camera came in 2016 with her performance in the FOX competition programme Görevimiz Komedi, and the same year she made her drama debut as Gülçin in Show TV's İçerde. In 2017 she appeared in Deli Gönül as a student and in Kadın as Ceren. Her real breakthrough was Bir Aile Hikayesi, broadcast on FOX in 2019, where as Beste Güneş she drew the audience's attention. In 2020-2021 she played in Sen Çal Kapımı, also on FOX and known abroad as Love Is in the Air, and in 2021 took part in her first film, Benden Ne Olur. In 2022 she played Reyhan Korkmaz in Seni Kalbime Sakladım and Meryem Yılmaz in Çöp Adam; Dört Duvar and Senden Daha Güzel are among her other credits.

She returned to the screen with Sahtekarlar, a drama and action series that began on 12 October 2025, while continuing her theatre work.
