Ekrem Al — Biography

Ekrem Al was born in Trabzon in 1955. After a career as a footballer, he moved into coaching and went on to have a long career as a manager in Turkey's lower football divisions.

In 2013 he was appointed manager of Adanaspor, then a PTT 1. Lig club, and in later years he took charge of Sarıyer on more than one occasion, building a lasting relationship with the club; his spells as Sarıyer's manager in 2021 and 2023 were referred to in the press as the "Ekrem Al era" at the club. In late 2023 he agreed to become manager of Kırşehir FK.

Having worked with several different clubs over the course of his career, Ekrem Al became a well-known figure among coaches in Turkey's lower football tiers.
