Ege Özkayımoğlu — Biography

Ege Özkayımoğlu is a forward who came through the Göztepe academy. He reached the Süper Lig in 2019 at a young age, and he made his name mainly through his goalscoring during a loan at 1922 Konyaspor. In August 2026 he signed for the second-tier club Boluspor.

He joined the Göztepe academy in 2010 and developed there for nine years. He turned professional in 2019 and made his first appearance for Göztepe on 15 September 2019, in a 0-0 Süper Lig draw with Çaykur Rizespor. On 1 October 2020 he was loaned to 1922 Konyaspor, where he scored 11 goals in 28 matches and drew attention; he returned to Göztepe in June 2021 but found few opportunities in the 2021-22 Süper Lig season. On 8 September 2022 he was loaned to Afjet Afyonspor, then in the second tier; he terminated that contract on 30 June 2023 and went back to Göztepe, and in July 2023 he and the club parted ways. In the following years he played in the lower divisions, leading the line for the third-tier club Orduspor 1967.

At international level he played four times each for Turkey's U-18 and U-19 sides and scored one goal in those matches. His father, Şakir Özkayımoğlu, is a former footballer and coach, and his uncle, Erdem Özkayımoğlu, is also a former footballer.
