Ege Arar

Ege Arar — Biography

Ege Arar was born on September 2, 1996, in Adana, and is a 2.06-meter-tall basketball player who plays in the center and power forward positions. He came up through Galatasaray's youth system, wore number 11 for the club, and was called up to the national team in 2018, the same year his mother's death was met with widespread sympathy within the basketball community.

After leaving Galatasaray in 2022, Arar went on to play for Petkimspor, Manisa Büyükşehir Belediyespor and Darüşşafaka before moving to Trabzonspor at the end of 2024. He has represented Turkey's national team internationally and has played for several clubs in the Basketbol Süper Ligi over the course of his career.
