Efe Korkut — Biography
Efe Korkut Martín is a Turkish professional footballer born on 23 June 2006 in San Sebastián (Donostia), Spain, and raised largely in Germany. Holding Turkish, German and Spanish citizenship, he is the son of former international footballer and coach Tayfun Korkut, and plays as a midfielder.
Korkut began his career in VfB Stuttgart's youth system before joining Spanish club Athletic Bilbao in February 2026, becoming the first Turkish player in the club's history. He currently plays for the reserve side Bilbao Athletic in the Primera Federación and has represented Turkey at youth international level.
