Ebru Şallı — Biography

Ebru Şallı was born on 15 January 1977 in İzmir and became one of Turkey's best-known models, television presenters and authors. She rose to public attention after winning the 1995 Queen of Turkey beauty pageant, which launched her television career.

She married presenter Ozan Orhon in 1997, divorcing a year later. She later married Harun Tan, with whom she had two sons, Beren (born 2004) and Pars (born 2010). Her younger son Pars died of lymphoma on 16 April 2020; Şallı has since spoken publicly about her grief and has offered support to other parents who have lost a child.

On screen, she appeared in the series Unutabilsem, Belalım Benim and Gölge Çiçeği, and took part in the program Reyting Hamdi. She wrote a book on staying healthy during pregnancy and worked as a pilates instructor, later hosting the cooking show Ebru'nun Mutfağı on TV8 and the program Ebruli on Beyaz TV. A vegetarian, she continues to work as a television host.
