Duşan Çantekin — Biography

Duşan Cantekin was born on June 21, 1990 in Kragujevac, Serbia, and later took up Turkish citizenship as he built his basketball career. Standing 2.21 m tall, he plays center and came up through the Efes Pilsen youth system before being loaned out to Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyesi and, later, KK Mega Vizura in Serbia to gain experience.

Over the following years he wore the colors of several Turkish clubs, including Banvit, Galatasaray, Trabzonspor, Pınar Karşıyaka and Bursaspor, moving between the Basketbol Süper Ligi and the Basketbol First League. He is recognized as one of the longest-serving Serbian-born players in Turkish basketball, and has more recently played for Gaziantep Basketbol.
