Dursun Sevinç — Biography

Dursun Sevinç (born 16 March 1972 in Ankara) is a Turkish weightlifter who competed internationally for Turkey throughout the 1990s, lifting in both the 83kg and 85kg weight classes over the course of his career.

He won a medal at the 1997 World Weightlifting Championships and collected five medals at the European Weightlifting Championships between 1995 and 1999, in addition to representing Turkey at the Mediterranean Games.

Thanks to his consistent results on the European stage, Sevinç is remembered as one of the notable Turkish weightlifters of the 1990s.
