Doğukan Sönmez — Biography
Doğukan Sönmez (born 1 January 1992 in Bakırköy, Istanbul) is a Turkish professional basketball player. Standing 2.09 m tall, he plays at the center position.
Sönmez took up basketball with Dostluk Spor in his native Bakırköy and went on to feature for a number of clubs in the Turkish leagues: he signed with Torku Konyaspor in 2015, joined Banvit in 2016 and again in 2018, and moved to Ankaragücü in 2024.
He last played for Lokman Hekim Fethiye Belediyespor.
