Doğukan Sinik — Biography

Doğukan Sinik is a Turkish footballer, a right-sided winger and attacking midfielder, who rose from his hometown club Antalyaspor to play for Hull City in England. He won his first senior cap for Turkey in a friendly against Italy in March 2022 and scored twice against Lithuania in the Nations League that June, his first goals for the national team. In spring 2026 he was again an Antalyaspor player.

His professional journey began at Antalyaspor in 2015. In 2017-18 he was loaned to Kemerspor 2003, scoring twice in 30 games, and then returned to Antalyaspor, making 73 appearances in all with 2 goals and 4 assists. In July 2022 he moved to Hull City on a three-year contract, but a hamstring problem meant that his debut came only in September 2022, as a substitute against Luton Town. In January 2023 he was loaned to Antalyaspor until the end of the season, and in February 2024 to Hatayspor for the rest of that campaign. His time at Hull ended in May 2025 when his contract expired.

His international path started early too: he wore the U16 shirt in 2015, then the U18, U19 and U21 shirts in turn, scoring once in 9 official U19 games and once in 8 U21 games over three years. In May 2026 he was forced off injured during the match against Galatasaray, which drew wide coverage in the sports press.
