Doğan Karakuş — Biography
Born on 19 May 1993 in Diyarbakır, Doğan Karakuş is a Turkish footballer who plays as a forward. He began his football journey at Map Kavaklıspor, spent a season with Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kağıtspor, and joined the Kocaelispor youth academy in 2008.
Promoted to the professional squad in 2011, Karakuş made headlines during the 2011-12 season by scoring three hat-tricks. In the Kocaelispor-Tepecikspor match on 13 May 2012, he netted goals in the 46th, 48th and 49th minutes, setting the fastest hat-trick record in Turkey and the second-fastest in the world.
He transferred to Altınordu for the 2013-14 season and won the 2. Lig title with the club before moving on to Bandırmaspor, where he spent more than one season. In the years that followed he also turned out for clubs such as Giresunspor, Altay and Sivas Belediyespor, continuing his career as a forward in Turkey's lower divisions.
