Doğan Duru — Biography

Doğan Duru is a Turkish musician born on 29 September 1973 in İzmit. A graduate of the Istanbul University State Conservatory, he is known as the vocalist, rhythm guitarist, lyricist and composer of the rock band Redd, and is noted for his tenor voice.

Having performed with Redd for more than two decades, Duru has also built a solo career, releasing the albums "Epoch," "Kafesine Uçan Kuş" and "Climax." Born under the sign of Libra, he remains one of the leading figures of Turkey's alternative rock scene, both through his work with Redd and his solo output.
