Didem Karagenç — Biography
Didem Karagenç (born October 16, 1993, in Ankara) is a Turkish football coach and former international player. She is the head coach of the Beşiktaş women's football team in the Turkish Women's Super League.
Karagenç began playing football in Sakarya in 2004 and moved to Gazi Üniversitesi in 2007, winning league titles in the 2006–07, 2007–08 and 2009–10 seasons. She joined Konak Belediyespor in 2012 and reached the round of 16 of the 2013–14 UEFA Women's Champions League. After signing for Beşiktaş in October 2015, she won promotion to the First League in her first season and league championships in 2018–19 and 2020–21.
A defender who also represented the Turkey women's national team, she ended her playing career at Beşiktaş in 2026 and was appointed head coach of the club's women's team on July 18, 2026.
