Didem Erol — Biography

Didem Erol was born in 1975 in Sydney, Australia, to a family of Turkish descent. After spending much of her childhood in Australia, she returned to Turkey with her mother and began her acting career there, becoming best known in Turkey for playing Victoria in the television series Avrupa Yakası, as well as appearing in the 2006 film Dünyayı Kurtaran Adam'ın Oğlu.

Since around 2008 she has been based in Los Angeles, continuing her acting career in the United States, and around 2017 she changed her professional name to Serah Henesey. During this period she was publicly linked to director Quentin Tarantino, whom she met in Cannes; the relationship reportedly lasted about four years.

In her personal life, Erol married Nathan Cowles at the end of 2020, and became a mother for the first time in 2023 and for a second time in 2025. She holds multiple citizenships and is fluent in both English and Turkish.
