Deniz Vural — Biography
Deniz Vural (born 1988 in Gießen) is a German-born Turkish-German footballer who plays as a midfielder and holds both German and Turkish citizenship. Sources disagree on his date of birth: Wikidata gives 11 June 1988, while the German, English and Turkish Wikipedias and DBpedia give 11 July 1988.
He began his career with clubs in his home city and went on to play for MTV Gießen and FSV 1926 Fernwald in Germany as well as Eskişehirspor, Balıkesirspor and Alanyaspor in Turkey, joining Eskişehirspor in 2011.
He later returned to Germany, appearing for Hessenliga side Fernwald and for FC Gießen. His marriage during his time at Alanyaspor was reported in the local and national Turkish sports press.
