Deniz Kadah — Biography
Deniz Kadah (born 2 March 1986 in Viranşehir, Şanlıurfa Province) is a German-Turkish footballer. Born to a family of Kurdish descent and raised in Germany, he holds both Turkish and German citizenship and plays as a forward, standing 1.86 m.
He began in the German lower leagues with Rotenburger SV, TuS Heeslingen and FC Oberneuland before playing for VfB Lübeck, Fortuna Düsseldorf and Hannover 96. After moving to Turkey he appeared for Çaykur Rizespor, and in January 2021 he signed for Altay.
Even in the 2025-26 season, by which point he had turned 40, he was described as one of Altay's principal attacking options, with İzmir media crediting him in the club's fight to stay up. A visit to his native Viranşehir in the same period was widely covered in the local press.
