Deniz Ali Cankorur — Biography

Deniz Ali Cankorur is a Turkish actor born in Istanbul on August 28, 2007. Stepping in front of the camera while still in elementary school, Cankorur has grown up as a name raised through child acting, continuing his education while working on film and television sets.

He took his first step into acting in 2014 with the film Su ve Ateş, directed by Özcan Deniz. Appearing in this production at the age of seven, he shared the cast with actors including Özcan Deniz, Tamer Levent, Pelin Akil, Burcu Kıratlı, and Cem Uçan. His move to television came in 2015 with the series Kırgın Çiçekler, which had a large cast of young actors; he appeared alongside names such as Atılgan Gümüş, Deniz Uğur, Biran Damla Yılmaz, and Burak Tozkoparan.

In the following years he appeared in one series project after another. In 2016 he took a role alongside Hande Doğandemir, Serkan Çayoğlu, Ahmet Kural, and Hilal Altınbilek in Hayatımın Aşkı, directed by Ketche. Attracting attention for the character Mertcan he played in this series, Cankorur appeared alongside Serhat Teoman, Sinem Ünsal, and Tugay Mercan in the production, whose lead roles were shared by Buğra Gülsoy, Beren Gökyıldız, and Leyla Lydia Tuğutlu. His appearing in one film and series project after another despite his young age carried him among the well-known child actors of his generation.
