Coşkun Demirbakan — Biography

Coşkun Demirbakan (born 10 November 1954 in Eskişehir) is a former Turkish international defender and football manager known during his playing days by the nickname "İmparator" (The Emperor).

After retiring as a player he moved into coaching, taking charge of numerous Turkish clubs over the years including Boluspor, Adanaspor, Eskişehirspor and Sakaryaspor. During his time at Sakaryaspor he was quoted in the press saying the team was prepared for whatever challenges lay ahead.

Known for describing football as a matter of effort and determination rather than pure calculation, Demirbakan is regarded as one of the more experienced figures among Turkish football managers.
