Charlotte Vandermeersch — Biography

Charlotte Vandermeersch was born on 11 November 1983 in Oudenaarde, Belgium. She is a versatile artist who works as an actress and screenwriter, and has also taken on directing and performing roles.

She began her screen career in the late 2000s with films such as Çatı Katı and the series Vermist, later appearing in Turquaze and Çölde Kutup Ayısı. Vandermeersch formed both a creative and personal partnership with director Felix Van Groeningen; the adapted screenplay the two wrote together won Italy's David di Donatello Awards for Best Film and Best Adapted Screenplay. She was also noted for her performance in the 2016 film Belgica.
